FAQs

What you need to know

Answers about earning, your FLO Wallet, eligibility, the warranty on your FLO home charger.

Earning & your FLO Wallet

1

How much does each eligible kWh earn?

10¢ for every eligible kWh at home on your connected FLO Home and at eligible FLO stations. Same rate in both places, calculated to the cent, with no minimum per session.

2

 Which stations earn rewards?

Public FLO stations shown on the map in the FLO app when you apply the "FLO" filter. Partner-network stations and private stations, such as workplace chargers, don't earn rewards, even if you pay to charge there.

3

Are there different levels or tiers?

No. No levels, no tiers. Your rewards are in dollars, at one rate.

4

How do I see what I've earned?

At launch, your eligible sessions are listed in your History in the FLO app; multiply the kWh by 10¢ to estimate your rewards. From spring 2027 your rewards appear in your FLO Wallet, including everything earned since you joined.

5

What can I do with my rewards?

Starting in spring 2027, pay for charging on the FLO network with your FLO Wallet. Starting in fall 2027, request a cash payout. Details will be shared ahead of each launch.

6

 Can the 10¢ rate change?

Yes. FLO reserves the right to modify, amend or otherwise terminate the program for any reason, which could include amendments to Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations or a change in market conditions that affect the feasibility or operation of the Program. Any change will be announced clearly, by email and in the app, with the date it takes effect, and will never apply to charging you've already done: rewards already earned are honoured at the rate in place when you charged.

7

How does the program relate to the Clean Fuel Regulations?

Clean Fuel Regulations were one of the multiple factors FLO considered when designing the program, but please note that any rewards that you may earn under the program are not compliance credits under the Clean Fuel Regulations. The rewards are separate from compliance credits and do not give you any share of those credits either, or of any proceeds deriving from them. Participating in the program will give you no ownership of, right to or interest in any compliance credits or any proceeds from them, whether from their sale or otherwise.

Eligibility & warranty

1

Do I need a FLO Home to join?

No. Any FLO app user in Canada can enrol and earn at eligible FLO stations. A connected FLO Home adds your home charging, and if you already own one, there's nothing to buy.

2

Which FLO Home models are eligible?

The FLO Home X3, X6 and X8, connected through Wi-Fi, and the X5, connected through its PLC module, each paired with your account under "My Charger" in the FLO app. The FLO Home G5 can't connect to the internet and isn't eligible.

3

How does the Lifetime Warranty work?

While the program runs and your FLO Home is enrolled, its standard warranty is extended for the whole of that period. If a covered defect occurs, FLO repairs or replaces your charger. Conditions and exclusions apply.

4

What happens to the warranty if I leave the program?

Your FLO Home goes back to its standard warranty, counted from the original purchase date. Your legal warranty rights are not affected.

Getting ready

1

When does enrolment for the program start?

November 2nd. In the meantime, get ready: connect your FLO Home and pair it with the FLO app, or, if you don't have an eligible FLO Home yet, find yours at store.flo.com so you're set for day one. Your rewards start the day you join.

2

Will I need the FLO app?

Yes. You join in the app (Me tab, Account & settings, FLO Reward Program), pair your FLO Home there and use the "FLO" filter on the map to find eligible stations.

3

Does it cost anything to join?

No. No fees, no deposit, and no purchase required beyond the charging you choose to do.

4

Do I get rewards for charging I did before joining?

No. Rewards start on the day you join; earlier charging doesn't count.

See detailed terms and conditions when available. Rewards apply to eligible FLO Home chargers and eligible FLO public stations.
